We are expecting the international NGO Women for Women International as a guest. Women for Women International helps women who have survived a war to build a new life. The organisation has been working in Afghanistan since 2002 and recently published a study on the role of women under the Taliban. In the context of her lecture "Unheard. Unseen. - Marginalised women in conflict countries using Afghanistan as an example", they will share their insights and wealth of experience with us. We are very much looking forward to welcoming two representatives of them here at the lake.
